i love-
shopping in a foreign grocery store. even though i’m pretty sure we bought baby toothpaste. it’s fun to see all the different things. curry ketchup? mayonnaise in tubes? thousands of kinds of waffles!
the long black candles i bought for our fairly white apartment.
our canal. every morning there are swans all over it.
the two tickets my parents sent us for the decemberists...
written words. the last days.
20 feet into the sky and parallel to a screaming street. old floors littered with crushed glass and the blood of guest feet. the black hole resided in the eastern bedroom while parasites chewed at the upholstery. you sat between the dead plastic tree and the half legged dinner table and said ‘i’m through’ which was exactly what was said one year prior and then 2 years before...
